I AM: Momentarily Present

The concept of body, matter, and vision is changing at the speed of light. While we think we are there, we are no longer there, and when we think we are not, we are more present than ever.

When we are in the presence of a work of art, we project ourselves into dimensions both known and unknown, thus understanding that we are all part of the whole, in different dimensions and proportions. An invitation to linger for the appropriate amount of time before the works of the above-mentioned artists and to listen to the new connections that are being established.

Biagi's painting is minimal in the photographs of Bologna, and vice versa, just as Bueno's microscopic theaters of humanity, brimming with colors, figures, objects, and atmospheres, ideally intertwine with Deodato's terracottas, which participate in the faces searching for truth in Fonzo's bronzes.

Or, in Grinberg's marble heads, one senses the same tension toward imperfection that inhabits Fraser's partially polished bronzes.

Pizzi Cannella's work, however, unites everyone in a single act of love.

But there will be more: for the first time with the Gallery, performer Eleonora Velka-Sai, on the opening day, starting at 7:00 pm, will enchant us with her vocal improvisations, expressing with her voice from deep within the "reading" of some of the works on display.

A collective reflection on identity, on otherness, on the permanence of being and its constant transformation.
