Veronica Fonzo

In the sculptural material she has introduced from the beginning the voice of her distant land. Just graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, she worked for important masters in Argentina and immediately after in Italy, where she moved to Pietrasanta to learn the techniques of working marble, plaster, resin and bronze.

She has participated in exhibitions and symposia both in Italy and abroad, distinguishing herself for the sobriety of the forms and the freshness of the designs. Each material has its hidden spirit that can be grasped only by those who know how to dominate it, and Veronica immediately showed herself to be versatile and self-confident in the personal approach with which the artist searches and finds a style suited to her imagination and her own emotion.

Veronica’s world is populated by nostalgic echoes and resonances, where childhood is not a metaphor but a poetic, reflective and contemplative instrument.
